This opening keynote is a wake-up call for higher education. Dr. Michelle R. Weise will explain the disruptive potential of online competency-based education (CBE) and why it’s not a passing fad. She’ll delve into the emergence of compelling, new and alternative learning pathways and micro-credentials for a growing population of nontraditional students who desire on-demand access to critical education for our rapidly evolving knowledge economy. Dr. Weise will also elaborate on the work that she leads at Sandbox ColLABorative, the R&D lab of strategy and innovation at Southern New Hampshire University.
