When does registration open and what will it cost?

Registration for the 2021 fully virtual conference will open Wednesday, April 14, 2021. We are offering a single conference registration fee of $329.

Are there group discounts or scholarships available?

No, but everyone gets a discount! We have lowered the registration fee from last year’s amount in order to offer everyone affordable access to the 75+ sessions, keynotes, and special events in the DT&L conference.

What’s included in the conference fee?

Conference registration includes access to the following:

  • Keynote and featured speaker sessions
  • More than 75 sessions from Monday, August 2 through Thursday, August 5, 2021
  • Pre-conference orientation session on Sunday, August 1, 2021
  • ABCs of DE mini-symposium on Sunday, August 1, 2021
  • Virtual sponsor events, promotions, and give-aways
  • Learning Stage presentations
  • Access to the Conference Platform
  • Attendee digital welcome package
  • Digital conference publication with proceedings, papers, and session summaries
  • Presenter handouts and ancillary materials
  • Access to session recordings for 1 year post-conference
  • Workshops are not included in the basic conference fee, but can be added for an additional charge during the registration process

When and how will I receive a receipt for my registration?

The registration office will send you a confirmation email and receipt once you have registered and paid.

When will I receive my other registration materials?

We will email you a link to the conference platform at least one week before the conference begins to help you plan your experience and schedule.

What if I need to cancel my registration?

If you need to cancel, contact the registration office at 608-262-0810. When you call, be sure to obtain a cancellation number. Depending on the date of your cancellation, you may receive a full or partial  refund. See the registration page for more information.

Can I transfer my registration to another person?

If you are unable to attend the conference, you may transfer your registration to a colleague. You must let us know in advance who will be attending in your place. Please contact the registration office at 608-262-0810.

I have a disability and may need accessibility accommodations. What should I do?

We want to make participating and the conference experience simple, accessible and inclusive. All conference sessions will use tools that are accessible according to the Americans with Disabilities Act, and we will offer live AI-generated captions for all conference sessions.

If you require a more specific disability accommodation, please email dtl@dcs.wisc.edu.

Disability accommodation requests received prior to June 10, 2020 are appreciated. While we do our best to serve the needs of everyone attending, short-notice and day-of-event accommodations cannot be guaranteed.
