Presented by Oliver Dreon
Many beginning online teachers tend to use video as means of delivering content to their students. The video medium can also be used for engaging and assessing students. In this session we will examine the use of student-created videos as a means of building social presence in online learning environments, and as a tool for assessing student learning. We will discuss ways to scaffold the technical aspects of video-based assignments and examine best practices for structuring and assessing student work.
