Capture the contents of your computer screen then add audio (narration or music) to create your own screencast for use online. Tap into a variety of learner motivations by screencasting mini-lectures, guided web tours, “gallery walks” of student projects, guided instructions to explain a process, or rich multi-media feedback on student work. Learn how to design and employ screencasting to provide active, authentic, constructive learning opportunities. Practice with a set of recommended instructional design questions and hands-on creating screencasts.

REQUIRED: Laptop with built-in web camera and microphone

OPTIONAL: Participation in online live surveys and collaborative word wall activities
