Online Competency-Based Education (CBE) is forcing the higher education community to rethink how they offer learning to a growing population of non-traditional learners seeking postsecondary credentials. Advances in instructional technology combined with new educational business models make possible increased affordability, flexibility, and faster times to degree completion. In this session, two experts share insights about the challenges and opportunities ahead when it comes to building CBE programs. Participants will not only get glimpses into the practitioner’s perspective but also how online CBE will impact the future workforce on a national scale.
